HOME FOR RESCUE OF THE AFFLICTED CHILDREN (HORAC/Nepal), was founded to act as a non-profit, child development organization. It was established in 2005 A.D. It was set up to foster full and harmonious development of children’s personality. The founder of HORAC/Nepal Mr. K. B. Shah has more than three years experience dealing with the children whose family are the victims of violence, tortures, murders, abduction and looting of the so-called ‘Conflict and War’. HORAC/Nepal since its inception has been helping these children in terms of their welfare and rehabilitation into the society.
The organization is registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu and is affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Nepal. HORAC/Nepal has been accommodating and providing relief to children of several districts from the East to Far West regions of Nepal. The principal aim of the organization has been to provide food, security and education to the conflict-hit children to grow up in a family environment, in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding. It has been operating its activities through his unit “HOME FOR RESCUE OF THE AFFLICTED CHILDREN (HORAC/Nepal) ". |
